Ten Thumbs Page 11 Piling On Getting your snow pile just right before you begin to sculpt
No one had a clue what my first snow sculpture this year was going to be. A three horned monster perhaps. To givve you an idea of its size it was was a little taller than me and I'm six foot two. This is virtually all the snow from my backyard from about five inches of fairly dense snow. I was able to create the three lumps during a heat wave when the snow allowed me to pile it up. I knew that there would be one more day of warm weather so I only went this far. It would give me a full day following to do the detail work before a freeze hit and solidified everything. to be continued.... |
