A Correction - The DPPA is not the PA

I wrote in my last column that the DPPA (Duluth Public-Policy Alliance) held a forum on the challenges facing the Duluth Public Schools. In fact, this forum was put on by the PA (Progressive Action). I’m afraid that the proliferation of organizations in Duluth has rendered me AC. (acronym challenged)

A DPPA Board member kindly corrected me after my column sent her scrambling to find out about this meeting whose sponsorship I wrongly reported. It was her hope that I would give Progressive Action the credit it deserves for keeping the public abreast of this important subject. I am pleased to give credit where credit is due.
