This document shows how much operations money will be used to pay for the
building and financing of the Red Plan.
The horizontal line with the hand drawn * "LRFP Operational savings"
shows that starting long before there will be any such
savings $13,750,014 of operations money will go into the Red Plan not classroom
spending.
You arrive at $13.7 million by adding the horizontal line all the way from 2010
with $547,481 going to operations until 2114
with $6,161.947 going into operations. This money will go into the Red Plan
unless the plan is stopped. All the critics who
are saying that the operations money needs to go to kids fail to understand that
most of it will go to the Red Plan.
If the operations levy passes this fall at the lowest level, ($365 per student)
then about $4 million of approximately the $17,600,000 million
it raises over five years will go into the classroom not $17.6 million. The
other $13.7 million will finance the Red Plan.
