I read Tom West's important column about
privacy laws, whistle blowing, high school sports, and the threat of a
castrated press. I was interested in Tom's conclusion that Mike
Randolph should get his job back as Duluth East's hockey coach.
While I have never regretted my decision to uphold Mr. Randolph's termination, I agree with Tom that Mike "seems like a stand-up guy." For the sake of the Greyhound players who expressed a preference for Mike's one-year replacement, Todd Wentworth, I hope Tom is right.
