Butterfly Hunter (about 5th grade)

I was never a Wallace, Darwin or a Banks but I thought bugs were interesting. My Mom told me that when she was a little girl she always took pride in being the little sister who wasn't afraid of critters. Her big sister Mary Jane always lorded it over her on most other matters but Mary Jane was afraid of creepy crawlies. I felt it incumbent upon me to follow in my Mother's footsteps. This picture was taken somewhere in Colorado where, until I tore it to tatters, I was busy netting butterflies.

I quite like the halo created by the net. I think the photo is quite prescient.
